For someone who doesn't know what this is....it is an extension cord to make your USB (phone chargers, etc) longer. You plug this into your wall outlet or computer then plug your phone charger into the other end.  It gives you more length to your original charging cord.  And who doesn't need a little bit more length on their USB cords??  You know, when your plug is behind the bed and you only have a four-foot reach...this thing comes in pretty darn handy.  With 16 feet in length, you could wrap it around the bed if you wanted to :) 

I've tried this extension cord on my iPod, my cellphone (Lumia Windows phone), an Amazon Kindle, and an LG Volt cellphone...and it has worked flawlessly with all of them so far.  I have had extensions in the past where a pop up would show up on my iPod and say that the cord is not compatible with the device -- this one has not done that.  It charges my phone//iPod in about the same amount of time as if it were plugged directly into the original cord and gives me a lot more room to walk around, curl my hair, and pretty much do whatever I want while it's plugged in and in my hand. 

Additionally, the cord itself is a heavyweight quality and not flimsy like the cheap cords, it has bulk to it. The connections are well constructed and the cords are seated in the plugs tight - so it doesn't fall out of the socket when your moving it around. I am happy with the quality of the product and its function, it has worked out really well for me an my kids.
